What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Estimator position at List Industries Inc.?
List Industries, a leading manufacturer of lockers, cabinets and shelving systems is looking for an Estimator to join our Inside Sales team at our Deerfield Beach, FL location. This position is responsible for providing quotations to support sales success and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work with customers and company sales representatives to interpret project requirements, deliver accurate pricing, and approve new incoming orders.
This is a full-time, in-person position. Normal office hours are 8am – 5pm ET Monday through Friday.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 (Paid by the hour - Commensurable with experience)
· Communicate both verbally and via email with both internal departments, outside salespersons and customers
· Read and interpret both specification documents and project layouts to ensure accurate product selection and pricing
· Recommend and offer product-based solutions that align with customer needs, budget, and application requirements
· Utilize an online quotation tool to prepare and review quotations submitted by outside sales/customers
· Review and approve new incoming purchase orders
· 4-year bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience in inside sales and/or estimating
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
