SASED is looking for 2 additional nurses for the 26-27 School Year at their Lisle South location. Additional details are below. Please read through all of them, as there are specifics they have requested to be asked to all potential candidates. Positions will be posted in Matterworx in the morning.
Lisle South - 5205 Kingston Avenue, Lisle, IL
Hours: 8am-3:30 (may be earlier or later with bussing)
1 nurse in the SMNP (Medical Program) class
1 nurse in the SLE (supported Learning Environment) classroom
Qualifications
RN preferred, may consider LPN
2 years of professional nursing experience required. (1 year with pediatrics or special needs)
Autism and Behavior experience is preferred
Looking for the following experience
G-tube feeding
Seizures and seizure emergency medications
Diabetic and CGM skills
Suction and trach skills,
SASED is a special education cooperative program serving students with special needs across DuPage County. All nursing services are provided within the classroom. Some students also require a nurse during school transportation and those students come from Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Lisle, Villa Park, Westmont, Willowbrook, and Woodridge. The majority of our nurses work in schools located in Lisle and Villa Park. Staff hours are 8:00 am - 3:30 pm but may be earlier or later if a nurse is riding a bus with a student.
