What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Attendant position at Lisle Park District?
The part-time guest services attendant is responsible for the safe use of slides, sand area, and other attractions not monitored by lifeguards. The position involves in-service training sessions, staying up to date with new policies and procedures, appropriately enforcing rules and proper response to emergency/medical situations. Pre-season training begins early May.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be 16 years of age or older.
- The candidate must have excellent public relation and leadership skills and be able to enforce rules in a positive and tactful manner.
- Candidate must be available for flexible hours during the summer.
Special Considerations:
- Position calls for working in high humidity and varying weather conditions.
- Position requires the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
