Hydromat CNC Operator - 2nd or 3rd shift

Primary Purpose Of The Job

The principal purpose of this job description is to outline the roles and responsibilities of a Hydromat/CNC Operator. Operate the Hydromat/CNC machines and their associated secondary operations.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Read and understand part specific blueprints and dimensions.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and all basic gages.
• Recognize quality principles, as applied to products.
• Check parts with optical inspection equipment or equivalent measurement.
• Understand procedures and work instructions.
• Use appropriate statistical tools.
• Understand proper operation of machine and able to change Hydromat /CNC tools and offsets.
• Perform comprehensive machine preventive maintenance routines.
• Use, understanding, and execution of LEAP/5S, HSE standards.
  
  

EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE

• Knowledge of attribute and variable gaging.
• Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Plex – not required, but preferred or other manufacturing ERP system.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience as a CNC Operator
• Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of programming codes
• Self-motivated team-player with positive attitude
• Motivated and willingness to learn
• Team player who works in cooperation with others
• Understanding of machining practices
