LOCATION: On-Site (Glassboro, NJ) Daily local travel
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager/ EVP
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The Food Service Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and strategic market expansion for Liscio’s Italian Bakery across the food service sector, with a strong emphasis on growing the Fresh/Frozen Foods segment. This role will lead account management, develop new business opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and distribution to ensure customer satisfaction and brand consistency. The position offers flexibility to work remotely while maintaining on-site presence as needed to support internal teams, client visits, and product demonstrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and manage strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals in the food service and frozen foods categories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and food service partners on a local, regional, and national scale.
- Assist the Frozen Foods segment, including product positioning, sales tracking, promotional strategy, and market penetration.
- Assist with negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with distributors, chain accounts, and independent operators.
- Collaborate with production, customer service and quality assurance teams to ensure product consistency, compliance, and fulfillment of customer specifications.
- Identify new growth opportunities in emerging markets and lead product presentations and demos.
- Represent Liscio’s Italian Bakery at trade shows, client events, and industry functions as needed.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to any direct reports or sales support staff.

REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.
- Preferred 5 years of progressive sales experience in food service, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or bakery/frozen foods industry.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both in-state and out-of-state for customer visits, trade shows, and on-site meetings.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience launching or expanding frozen food product lines strongly preferred.
- Ability to adapt between remote and on-site environments with flexibility for extended hours during peak sales cycles.
