AM Driver/Warehouse Associate

Description:

As a Hybrid AM Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for both delivery and warehouse duties. This includes assembling and organizing customer orders, ensuring successful delivery, retrieving returned cases, performing truck inspections, and various warehouse tasks. Warehouse responsibilities involve receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment. You will also complete documentation related to shipping and receiving and ensure proper product storage conditions.

Candidates must be willing and able to work in an outdoor environment involving travel and within the warehouse environment. You must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team, follow instructions (written & verbal), and adhere to all established policies and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.

Shift: 4:00 AM-12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and organize customer orders for delivery.
• Perform successful deliveries and retrievals of returned cases.
• Conduct truck inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Receive, store, and distribute warehouse materials and products.
• Maintain inventory and ensure accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete documentation related to shipping and receiving.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for ingredients and products.
• Lift, carry, open, sort, and perform observatory duties as needed.
• Operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Follow all established policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods, read documents and labels, and communicate effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule: overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License in good standing.
• Must be willing and able to pass a NJ DOT Medical Examination.
• Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis per the Manager.
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to stand for long periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to read documents and labels.
• Willing and able to communicate effectively with employees and discipline if necessary.
• Willing and able to place products on carts and work in coolers and freezers.
• Experience with commercial driving and warehouse operations is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to various work environments including cold, snow, rain, wind, freezing, and hot temperatures.
• Exposure and contact with allergens.

Experience:

• Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse Operations: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
• Fork Lift: 1 year (Preferred)

Salary : $17 - $20
