High School Boys Golf Coach
Lisbon Community School District is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Head High School Boys Golf Coach. The successful candidate will develop student-athletes, a positive team culture, and maintain a safe and competitive athletic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead practices and competitions.
- Teach golf skills, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Support the academic and personal growth of athletes.
- Communicate with athletes, parents, and school staff.
- Promote a positive team culture and represent Lisbon Schools professionally.
- Follow all school, conference, and state athletic policies.
Qualifications:
- Current Iowa Department of Education Coaching Authorization required.
- Coaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the sport and its rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching team.
- Completion of required district trainings or willingness to complete them.
