What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life coach/mentor/caregiver position at Lisa Westermann?
This job is being a two to one companion to a 33 year old man who with high functioning autism and severe PTSD with disassociation & complicated outburs behaviors at times. Must have ptsd experience and calm, kind personality. Currently looking for part time shifts during the daytime(7-5) and weekends & holidays are required. Applicant needs to provide help to the client in the community and at home. The applicant needs to be patient, attentive, kind, smart, be able to move and adjust quickly and have the ability to think on his/her feet. Must get along well with others and bring a happy face to work. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, driving, exercising, and going on outings, attending doctors appointment will be required of the applicant. Applicant will be required to be fingerprinted, background checked and provide references. Only serious applicants please. looking for staff members that will remain years so this job is not something to just fill in the gap, it’s a commitment.
