Lisa’s Farmhouse Market is looking for a dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our weekday lunch team.
This role is hands-on and fast-paced — perfect for someone who already knows their way around a kitchen and enjoys being part of a small, tight-knit crew.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with daily prep, cooking, plating, and cleaning
- Maintain kitchen organization and food safety standards
- Work with the team to keep service smooth and efficient
- Help with setup and breakdown before and after service
Details
- Hours: Typically 8 AM–2 PM (may vary ±2 hours)
- Days: Monday–Friday (weekends off)
- Pay: $8/hour to start, plus pooled tips
- Trial Period: 60-day introductory period
- Growth: Breakfast service planned soon (5–6 AM start, same end time)
- Events: Special events as needed (volunteer only)
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a busy environment
- Good communication and reliability
- Follows standard kitchen dress code — appropriate clothing, minimal jewelry, uniform shirt provided
- Food safety awareness preferred
