Part-Time Cleaning Technician
A small, locally owned cleaning company based in Haddam, CT is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
This role involves residential cleaning services performed alongside a small team. The ideal candidate is physically capable, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough residential cleaning tasks to company standards
- Safely carry and operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, buckets) up and down stairs and throughout homes
- Use a variety of cleaning products effectively and responsibly
- Collaborate with a team of 1–4 employees to complete assigned jobs
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients
Qualifications:
- Good physical health and ability to perform manual labor
- Strong attention to detail, even under time constraints
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation for travel between client locations
- Cleaning experience preferred, but not required
Schedule & Training:
- Two-week paid training period provided
- Ongoing schedule averages 10–15 hours per week
- Typical working hours: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Tuesday through Thursday (hours may vary by day)
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $23 per hour
- Please note: payments are issued outside of a formal payroll system
