Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties across multiple areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- Conduct routine custodial tasks such as restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfection
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution
- Support industrial cleaning projects and commercial cleaning contracts with efficiency and attention to detail
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Ensure all assigned areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a positive environment for staff and visitors
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or equipment upkeep
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
