Job Title: District Accountant
Reports To: District Finance Leadership
Location: LISA Academy Public Charter Schools, Arkansas
Position Summary:
The District Accountant supports the financial operations of LISA Academy Public Charter Schools, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with Arkansas Department of Education regulations. Experience in school or public finance and proficiency with eFinance under PowerSchool, the state’s financial management system, are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and compliant financial records for the district.

Prepare and review financial reports using eFinance (PowerSchool).

Support district audits and financial reviews.

Collaborate with campus and district staff on financial processes.

Perform other duties as assigned by district leadership.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required in any field; degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.

Relevant certification preferred.

Experience in accounting or school finance preferred; familiarity with eFinance (PowerSchool) strongly preferred.
