Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Manage and motivate a team of sales associates through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee merchandising, product placement, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to alcohol sales, including age verification and licensing requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm, resolving issues promptly to foster loyalty.
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory management, and stock rotation to maintain optimal product availability.
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; oversee payroll and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles within a grocery or liquor store environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop team members effectively.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and retail math.
• Knowledge of POS systems, purchasing procedures, and store management software.
