Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our liquor store team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes responsibility seriously, and can perform effectively in a busy retail setting.
The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining merchandise displays, and helping ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide courteous, professional assistance.
- Help customers locate products and provide information about merchandise when requested.
- Check customer identification and comply with all applicable regulations for the sale of age-restricted products.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately through the POS system.
- Replenish merchandise and maintain neat, organized, and properly stocked shelves.
- Monitor product levels and notify management when inventory needs to be replenished.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees.
- Follow company policies, security guidelines, and established operating procedures.
- Work effectively with other team members and assist with additional store responsibilities when needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 24 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be comfortable working in a retail environment that sells alcoholic beverages.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $17.00 per hour
- On-site, in-person position.
