Position Overview
We are seeking a certified, experienced Ultrasound Technician to perform independent diagnostic studies in our growing cardiovascular diagnostic suite. This is a part-time position ideal for a professional seeking a modern, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, including:
- Carotid artery ultrasound
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening
- Lower extremity arterial and venous duplex studies
- Echocardiograms
- Maintain image accuracy, quality, and documentation for provider review.
- Ensure proper equipment operation and cleanliness.
- Communicate findings and support efficient patient flow.
- Uphold professional and compassionate patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Active certification through ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), with Cardiac (RDCS/RCS) and Vascular (RVT/RVS) credentials.
- Minimum 1 year of independent ultrasound experience required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time, flexible hours (weekday availability preferred). FT hours as program expands.
- Potential for growth as the diagnostic program expands.
