LiquidAgents Healthcare, a fast-growing healthcare staffing firm, is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist.
Description:
The Cash Application role is responsible for the processing account reconciliations and posting daily cash receipts to clients’ accounts, as well as other various responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Access online reports and invoices to post daily cash receipts to clients’ accounts.
- Demonstrate understanding, as well as, interpreting contract terms as they relate to billing.
- Prepares and processes cash receipts adjustments, such as credits and debits, into accounting software in an accurate manner.
- Work with internal teams on account aging and dispute resolution.
- Generate and send account statements to clients as needed.
- Help manage collection processes of all outstanding accounts receivable.
- Assist the team in working with clients to identify discrepancies or issues between cash receipts and invoices.
- Communicate regularly with other back-office staff for escalated issues and provide payment status updates.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of previous cash posting, and accounts receivable experience preferred
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) & NetSuite preferred
- Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, scanners, and 10-key calculator.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task as well as problem solve
- Compensation: Hourly – negotiable based on experience
