Bookkeeper (Accounting Generalist) – Miami
We're looking for a diligent Bookkeeper to join our firm and take care of our day-to-day financial tasks. You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable, along with bank account management and reconciliation processes. To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience as a Bookkeeper and hands-on experience using QuickBooks.
You will be joining a fast-paced company operating in the financial and trading services space, focused on delivering data-driven solutions, operational support, and technology-enabled services to clients involved in global markets.
Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Monitor financial transactions and generate reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain and understand general ledgers
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller when needed
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or Business Administration
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting software
- Understanding of GAAP principles
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in a business services environment)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with tools such as QuickBooks
- Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements
- Fluent Spanish is required
