Expectations:
- Participate in all training activities to gain knowledge of all products and the benefits they provide to growers when applied to their fields.
- Stay current on new company and industry products, trends, and understand how they can benefit your customers and influence your location.
- Complete the required Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) training to pass the CCA exam within two years and earn certification after fulfilling the necessary work experience.
- Create a detailed list of prospects and current customers, incorporating the grower’s needs and wants, along with a schedule to ensure an adequate number of calls are made.
Meet with current and potential customers to discuss the opportunities Liqui-Grow can offer them.
- Assist the farmer by applying the purchased fertilizer and pesticides promptly and accurate manner.
- Make sure the application equipment is equipped with the required safety gear and that it is used at all times.
- Gather necessary customer field information to develop accurate recommendations for fertilizer and herbicide/pesticide applications.
- Keep the manager and team completely informed about all operations.
- Collaborate with your location manager to get support in achieving your individual sales goals.
- Assist in the collection of all customer account information.
- Conduct yourself professionally. Strive to build and uphold a positive image for Liqui-Grow and yourself within the community.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-drug test
- Must have a good driving record
- Must have or obtain a CDL – Twin State, Inc. will facilitate
- Experience with application/ag equipment is preferred but required.
