Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Buffalo, NY, for a Paralegal in the Estates, Wills & Trusts Group. The role includes supporting attorneys with drafting pleadings and documents, maintaining paper and electronic files, professional client communication, and working independently with little oversight. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to the firm’s commitment to providing top-tier legal services to its clients.
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of Trust and Estate administration, fiduciary responsibilities and accountings
- Expertise in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents and case management
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on maintaining professional client interactions
- Strong attention to detail and a highly organized workstyle
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments with little supervision
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as legal and tax software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Estates, Wills, and Trusts is required
Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Paralegal certificate is a plus. Ideal candidate must have strong organizational, client service and Microsoft Office skills. The selected individual will be supporting multiple attorneys and must be capable of working independently.
Compensation:
$45,000 - $60,000, yearly, depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
