Lippert is excited to announce we will be relocating our Shiner and Beeville Texas locations to Seguin Texas! This role will initially be based in Shiner, TX with a targeted relocation date of September 2026.
The fabrication team member is a laser operator responsible for loading, unloading, and operating equipment that cuts metal to make front end replacement bumpers, grill guards, and back bumpers.
Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $17.50/hr

- Operate machines to remove finished work pieces or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement according to required machining sequences
- Confer with shift leads and managers to resolve machine malfunctions or production obtain approval to continue production
- Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems
- Check to ensure that work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
- Clean machines, tooling, or parts, using solvents or solutions and rags
- Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction
- Monitor machine operation and control panel displays and compare readings to specifications to detect malfunctions
- Follow work instructions to operate machine control units to start and stop operation
- Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished work piece dimensions, or numerical control sequences
- Help to maintain necessary inventory of manufacturing supplies
- Assist with cycle counting of material to ensure inventory integrity
- Perform other duties as assigned
