Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Real Estate Appraiser role based in Elkridge, Howard County, MD. The appraiser will perform valuations of commercial properties, including land, income-producing assets, and mixed-use developments, using accepted appraisal methodologies and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and analyzing market, income, and cost data; conducting property inspections; preparing detailed appraisal reports; and supporting portfolio valuation and consulting assignments. The role involves collaborating with team members to develop valuation strategies, responding to client inquiries, and presenting findings in a clear, professional manner. The appraiser will also assist in consulting and transactional projects by providing analytical support and objective property evaluations.

Qualifications
- Candidates should already possess their Certified General Appraisal License, either in Maryland or another State.
- Candidates should possess skills in Valuation and Appraising, including analyzing income, cost, and sales comparison data to develop credible value conclusions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in written reports.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex valuation concepts to diverse clients.
- Proficiency with appraisal software, database tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or similar applications.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work on-site in Elkridge, Maryland, conduct property inspections, and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
