The Role
We are seeking an Associate Advisor to support financial planning and client relationship management within a structured, planning-focused environment.
This role is designed as a progression toward becoming a Financial Advisor. The Associate Advisor will work directly with senior advisors to support client relationships, contribute to financial plan development, and gain the experience necessary to build and manage their own book of business.
The position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to developing both technical planning knowledge and relationship management capabilities. Associate Advisors are supported by Lions Gate’s planning infrastructure, operational resources, and collaborative team, allowing them to focus on learning the advisory process and contributing to client outcomes.
This is an environment where individuals are developed with intention, gaining the structure, mentorship, and support needed to grow into a long-term advisory role with alignment toward continuity and shared success.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and development of comprehensive financial plans
Support client meeting preparation and follow-up execution
Maintain accurate client records within CRM and planning systems
Coordinate implementation and servicing tasks
Participate in client interactions to develop advisory and communication skills
Progress toward licensing and increased client responsibility over time
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field preferred
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Professional communication and presence
Interest in pursuing Series 65/66 and/or CFP® designation
Clear intent to build a long-term career in financial planning
