The Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor supports the daily operations of the housekeeping and floor care teams to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position works alongside team members while providing direction, training, and support to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are consistently met.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor supports the daily operations of the housekeeping and floor care teams to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Oversees daily cleaning routines and floor care schedules to ensure all areas of the community are properly maintained.
- Assigns work duties, monitors progress, and checks completed tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Assists staff with cleaning duties and floor care as needed, especially during busy periods or staff shortages.
- Helps train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and infection control practices.
- Keeps accurate records of work assignments, supply usage, and staff attendance.
- Communicates and coordinates with other departments to respond promptly to resident and staff needs.
- Reports maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management.
- Ensures compliance with safety, infection prevention, and sanitation policies at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness and comfort of the facility.
