Job Summary
In need of a dependable and motivated Non-CDL Box Truck Driver for local residential deliveries. This is a home-daily position operating a 26-foot box truck. Drivers will complete scheduled deliveries to residential addresses, safely unload freight, and place deliveries in the designated outdoor area at each home.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck on local delivery routes.
- Complete residential deliveries safely, accurately, and on time.
- Unload freight and place deliveries in the designated outdoor delivery location.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Secure freight properly during transport.
- Use a handheld device or mobile app to complete delivery confirmations.
- Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Keep the truck clean and report any maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
- Valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one before starting).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and move packages throughout the day.
- Previous experience driving a box truck, delivery vehicle, or commercial vehicle is preferred but not required.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
