What You'll Be Responsible For
- You’ll lead three small teams:
- Parts
- Purchasing
- Fleet
Each team already has an experienced Team Lead.
Your job is to be a hands-on leader, ensuring everything runs smoothly. That means:
- Implementing and continuously improving our inventory systems and processes
- Ensuring inventory transactions are accurate and properly tied to accounting
- Maintaining disciplined inventory controls across warehouses, vehicles, and job stock
- Ensuring technicians always have the parts and equipment they need to serve customers
- Managing purchasing strategy, vendor relationships, and cost controls
- Overseeing fleet readiness, maintenance schedules, and vehicle equipment standards
- Improving systems such as barcoding, inventory tracking, and purchasing workflows
- Using data and KPIs to help leadership make strong operational decisions
A Typical Day Might Include
- Reviewing inventory levels and open purchase orders
- Helping locate a hard-to-find generator part
- Approving a bulk equipment order
- Making sure service trucks are maintained and stocked
- Supporting a team member with a pricing or sourcing question
- Coordinating with Dispatch, Service, and Finance
Some days are tactical.
Some days are strategic.
Both are critical to our critical business.
