Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators to perform mowing, trimming, edging, and landscape installation tasks.
- Maintain and repair landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilizing, aerating soil, and managing irrigation systems.
- Assist with gardening tasks like planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools and landscaping equipment is essential for safe operation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, tree care (including trimming), snow plowing, and hardscape installation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design helps ensure high-quality results.
- Ability to operate excavators or other construction machinery is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
