We are seeking an experienced and motivated Convenience Store Manager to lead our team in Arnold, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that plays a key part in our store’s success.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise store employees
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and shrink prevention
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Monitor sales trends and develop strategies to improve store performance
- Handle all cash management procedures, including bank deposits and register audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all local/state/federal laws (including tobacco and alcohol sales)
- Work closely with vendors and service providers as needed
- Generate and review reports related to sales, inventory, and labor costs
Qualifications
- 2 years of retail or convenience store management experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
