Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and reconciliation
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise and features
- Maintain stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and inventory management
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or providing support remotely
- Ensure the store remains organized, clean, and inviting by supporting merchandising efforts and stock replenishment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations
- Apply basic math skills for transaction accuracy and retail math for pricing adjustments or discounts
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
