Position SummaryThe Account Executive is responsible for new business development within an assigned territory or vertical. This hunter role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and closing new installer and contractor accounts to drive regional revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of B2B sales success, technical aptitude to understand energy storage solutions, and a self-motivated approach to building relationships in the solar, energy, and construction industries.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve personal sales quota within assigned territory or account segmentProspect and qualify new installer, contractor, and distributor opportunitiesConduct outbound prospecting activities including calls, emails, and social sellingSchedule and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentationsDevelop proposals and negotiate contracts within established guidelinesCollaborate with Regional Manager on strategic account targetingMaintain accurate records of all activities and opportunities in CRMAttend industry events, trade shows, and networking functionsStay current on product updates, competitive offerings, and market trendsHand off closed accounts to Account Managers for ongoing relationship managementParticipate in sales training and certification programsProvide feedback on market conditions and customer needsRequired Qualifications2-4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in solar, energy, or construction industriesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong prospecting and cold calling skillsExcellent presentation and communication abilitiesSelf-motivated with ability to work independentlyProficiency with CRM systems and sales toolsTechnical aptitude to understand energy storage productsBachelor's degree preferredValid driver's license and willingness to travel within territoryABOUT LION ENERGY:We help individuals, families, and organizations become energy independent.
