You bring deep subject‑matter expertise in traction power and substation engineering, combining hands‑on design leadership with strong customer engagement to deliver safe, compliant, and constructible solutions. You serve as a trusted technical partner to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, driving alignment from early tenders through detailed engineering, construction support, and commissioning.

You serve as a trusted technical partner to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, driving alignment from early tenders through detailed engineering, construction support, and commissioning.
What will you do?
- Technical authority for traction power substation systems, setting engineering direction and ensuring alignment with North American standards, customer requirements, and internal processes
- Ownership of primary traction power engineering across DC substations, including MV and DC switchgear, transformers, rectifiers/converters, grounding, and auxiliary AC/DC systems
- Central technical interface for customers, end users, consultants, and contractors, representing Linxon in design reviews, hazard reviews, and technical assurance activities
- Key contributor to tender and bid development, shaping technical strategy, solution architecture, risk posture, and scope definition in collaboration with business development and tender teams
- Integrator across disciplines, ensuring coordination between traction power, protection & control, BIM, civil, construction, and commissioning functions
- Technical partner to suppliers and supply chain, ensuring alignment, technical compliance, and optimized equipment solutions
- Reference point for project execution support, maintaining design intent through construction, testing, and commissioning
- Mentor and guide for junior engineers, reinforcing technical rigor, safety culture, and engineering excellence within the rail electrification organization
- You are a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in traction power or rail electrification systems
- You are a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), or have the qualifications and experience aligned toward professional licensure (preferred but not required)
