We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide direct care to patients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide support with mobility and transfers, including using wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, and monitor patients for any dietary needs or restrictions.
- Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including changing bed linens and cleaning rooms.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their overall well-being.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and assisting patients.
