At Linwood Center, we’re looking for an Occupational Therapist who brings creativity, compassion, and clinical expertise to support students with autism and related needs. In this role, you’ll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where collaboration is encouraged, supervisors provide ongoing guidance, and you’ll have opportunities for professional growth, all while making a meaningful impact every day.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and support IEP goals related to occupational performance
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Implement sensory strategies and adaptive supports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide training and support to classroom staff as needed
Training & Support
- We provide CPR certification
- We provide Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training
- Ongoing support and guidance from supervisors
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Maryland OT license and NBCOT certification
- Experience in pediatrics or special education preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
