Position Details

  • Role: Experienced or Certified Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $18 –24 per hour
  • Schedule Details: Fridays required. Weekends off!

Linwood Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! We are a busy, full-service small animal practice. We are looking for a vet tech who wants to join a hospital that is dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine and forming lasting relationships with our clients and patients.

What You’ll Do

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
  • Emergency and surgical care 
  • Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

What Our Veterinary Technicians Should Be Proficient In:

  • Venipuncture
  • IV catheter placement
  • Perioperative care 
  • Dental procedures
  • Radiography
