Salary Based On Experience And Certifications
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine repair, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and fluid service
- Use hand tools and power tools, and diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot vehicle issues
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service information
- Provide accurate repair estimates and document work preformed
- Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards
- Maintain clean , safe and organized work area
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Gm and /or Diesel engine experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of engine repairs and powertrain systems
- Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
