Schedule: Monday - Friday
Linton Hall School is seeking dedicated Instructional Assistants to join our school grounded in Benedictine values. The ideal candidate will foster academic excellence, moral development, and a strong sense of community, while guiding students to grow in self-worth, integrity, and responsibility.
Essential Job Functions
- Interacts with parents, administration, co-workers, and school community in a manner that is professional and reflective of the charism of the Benedictine Sisters of VA
- Witnesses to the philosophy of Catholic education established by the Benedictine Sisters of VA and the Diocese of Arlington
- Supports the classroom teacher
- Assists with instruction and supervision of lessons or play
- Encourages appropriate behavior and participation during class time and events
- Monitors lunch and recess times as scheduled
- Gives individual assistance to students when appropriate in support of the lesson
- Assists with clerical needs, routines of the school day, and all necessary cleanup
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
