Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced External Manufacturing Analyst / Supply Planner to support end-to-end supply chain planning, production scheduling, and inventory management. This role will work closely with external manufacturing partners, internal supply planning teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between demand and supply, while maintaining service levels and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and align production plans using Rapid Response; coordinate schedule handoffs to manufacturing sites
- Develop and commit production schedules in collaboration with external manufacturing partners
- Manage SAP Production Purchase Orders (POs), including updates and closures
- Monitor and resolve inbound supply risks in coordination with Supply Planning and manufacturing sites
- Oversee inventory management in SAP, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations
- Support new product launches and site startups through item workflow processes
- Ensure timely vendor payments by managing Accounts Payable (CORA)
- Maintain strong communication with external partners and internal stakeholders
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to supply chain optimization
- Work independently while adhering to established procedures and controls
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field OR 2–5 years of relevant experience
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and supply planning
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple systems and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in manufacturing environments and financial processes
- Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Rapid Response, Veritas, or similar systems
- Experience in roles such as Supply Planner, Production Scheduler, Inventory Analyst, or Manufacturing Analyst
