Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team as a 1099 contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing mortgage loan applications from initiation to closing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify loan applications, financial documents, and supporting materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and submit loan documentation to underwriting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Coordinate with loan officers, clients, and third-party vendors to facilitate timely and smooth loan closings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Work with borrowers to gather necessary documents, answer questions, and provide timely updates on loan progress.
• Ensure timely communication with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
• Perform all duties in compliance with NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System) and DRE (Department of Real Estate) guidelines.

Requirements:

• Active DRE and NMLS license as a loan processor.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan processing procedures and industry regulations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with loan processing software and tools.
• Prior experience as a loan processor or in a similar role in the mortgage industry preferred.

Compensation: Based on experience (1099 contractor arrangement).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
