The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for hiring, training, and managing maintenance employees, organizing schedules, assigning work, and implementing procedures either in verbal or written form. The Maintenance Supervisor must be able to communicate in a clear, composed manner with employees, co-workers, and property owners. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for enforcing safety first training, being aware of hazards and corresponding safety precautions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read blueprints and plans
- Safely operate power construction tools, trucks and light/heavy equipment
- Set concrete forms and finish concrete
- Install roofing and lay floor tile, and linoleum
- Maintain equipment list and logbook
- Maintain parts inventory list
- Contact vendors and contractors for estimates for equipment or services
- Prepare estimates and part, labor lists for new builds or renovations
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and ventilation
- Inspects all equipment for imperfections or hazards and coordinates repair
- Supervises and directs the maintenance team.
- Schedules and assigns maintenance tasks.
- Inspects completed work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex maintenance problems.
- Orders and manages maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs.
- Assist Golf Course personnel with repairs and maintenance
- Abide by the Employee Handbook
- Abide the Health and Safety Manual
- All other duties assigned by the General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years' experience in general construction trade
- Safely operate trucks, light/heavy equipment and power tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to lift pounds
- Valid Driver's License
