Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
• Prepares and immediately administers medication
• Checks medications against med sheet, med card, and blister pack.
• Aware of and in compliance with safety rules at all times.
• Responsible for drug counts at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Perform all related duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
• Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• Knowledgeable of proper lift usage and understanding of no-lift policy of facility.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (Required)
• High School or equivalent (Preferred)
• Medication Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNA (Required)
