Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role located in Nanuet, NY. The Sales Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, assisting clients with product selection, preparing quotes, and facilitating sales transactions. Additional daily tasks include following up on leads, collaborating with team members to meet sales goals, maintaining accurate records of sales activities, and staying updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Customer service and sales experience with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in basic computing tools, CRM software, and managing sales records
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate documentation and follow-ups
- Ability to learn about residential flooring, commercial flooring, paint, and related products quickly
- Flexibility and reliability to work effectively as part of a team in an on-site environment
- Previous experience in the flooring or construction industry is a plus but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
