As we expand, we’re seeking a Systems Engineer to help lead technical projects, support the team, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service. About the RoleAs a Systems Engineer, you’ll serve as a technical expert, helping deliver service agreements, manage projects, and ensure LinkTech's high standards are met. You’ll work closely with clients, mentor junior staff, and help shape the future of our services. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where both technical skill and strong communication matter. Essential ResponsibilitiesBring a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and treat customers with respect and empathy.Work with LinkTech clients to deliver on service agreements and ensure subscribed services are delivered in compliance with established protocols.Maintain healthy RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) checks and resolve customer issues via phone, email, or in-person.Review client software and hardware infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.Deliver reports to clients confirming service quality and system health.Develop project proposals; once approved, manage projects to ensure consistent progress.Provide mentorship and support to other engineers and consultants.Track time effectively to demonstrate effort and project value. Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in IT Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5 years of experience deploying infrastructure and supporting end users.Strong expertise in Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud solutions (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10/11).Strong understanding of remote device management, including patch management, software/hardware monitoring, and managed antivirus.Solid grasp of network topology, including routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls (pfSense experience preferred).Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Bonus if you have experience with: RMM tools, Cloud backup solutions, Network management tools, FreePBX or Asterisk VoIP systems, Linux server environments.Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, VMware, CompTIA) are a plus.
