Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Low Voltage Technician, based in Reading, PA. The Technician will install, terminate, and maintain low-voltage cabling systems to support various network technologies. Installation & Cabling Installing, pulling, terminating, and labeling various types of low voltage wiring and cables, such as Cat5e/6, fiber optic, and coaxial, often in conduits or trays.
- Mounting Cameras, WIFI devices, Starlinks, Etc.
- Testing & Troubleshooting Performing testing and certification using specialized equipment (e.g., Fluke testers, multimeters) to ensure system functionality, diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills-Cabling (pulling, termination), blueprint/schematic reading, testing cables, etc.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and ability to work independently.
