You will guide students in grades 6–12 through topics such as cellular biology, genetics, ecology, and human anatomy while connecting scientific concepts to real-world applications. With small caseloads and a flexible, supportive environment, you will have the time and autonomy to create meaningful learning experiences that match each student’s pace and goals.What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferredAt least two years of experience teaching middle or high school BiologyTeaching certification preferred but not requiredStrong communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsPassion for inspiring students through hands-on, inquiry-based instructionWhat You’ll DoDesign and deliver individualized Biology instruction across multiple levels, from general to advanced or AP coursesCreate labs, projects, and activities that make complex concepts engaging and accessibleIntegrate cross-disciplinary connections between biology, chemistry, and environmental scienceTrack and document student progress using digital tools to guide instructionCommunicate regularly with students, families, and administrators to ensure consistent academic supportLinks Academy is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
