Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and servicing units at locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle moving units and keeping up our standard of cleanliness. Schedule start and stop times very flexible.
Duties
- Safely operate a pump truck or other delivery vehicles on assigned routes.
- Load and unload products at designated locations, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Be able to navigate online scheduling and routing through smartphone.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize equipment such as Bobcat Toolcat for loading and unloading tasks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries along the route.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a focus on route driving.
- Valid drivers license with clean record, but commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to moving products.
- Familiarity with courier services and logistics operations is beneficial.
