Regional Battery Sales Engineer
LINK Staffing is hiring a Regional Battery Sales Engineer for a technical sales opportunity supporting industrial battery and charger solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in material handling, industrial batteries, chargers, forklifts, or industrial equipment sales who enjoys building dealer relationships, growing accounts, providing product demonstrations, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow dealer relationships throughout an assigned territory
- Promote industrial battery and charger solutions
- Identify new dealer and customer opportunities
- Prepare quotes and follow up on open sales opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and dealer training
- Support order entry, delivery tracking, and customer communication
- Develop sales forecasts and account plans
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Attend dealer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Assist with customer questions, account follow-up, and collections when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of sales experience in material handling, batteries, chargers, industrial equipment, or a related industry preferred
- Experience with territory sales, dealer development, account management, or business development
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Comfortable delivering presentations, demonstrations, and product training
- Ability to manage quotes, follow-ups, forecasts, and multiple customer accounts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to travel approximately 30%–40%, including occasional weekends
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must not have active non-compete restrictions that would prevent employment in this position
