Maintenance Technician

LINK Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX.
This role supports safe and efficient operations by maintaining and repairing plant equipment, warehouse facilities, building systems, and fleet assets in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Complete preventive maintenance such as servicing, lubrication, and condition monitoring
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, overhead doors, fencing, gates, and yard areas
- Keep accurate repair and maintenance records
- Track needed parts and supplies
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs
- Follow safety procedures, including LOTO, and help maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Preventive maintenance knowledge required
- ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must comply with PPE and safety requirements
