The Manager, National Construction supports the greater National Construction & Enterprise Procurement department and specifically National Construction Operations team located centrally in Fort Washington, PA. The Manager will support the SVP of National Construction and will provide a supporting role in, capital, construction operations, department road map, and anywhere else needed. The Manager will be responsible to work closely with multiple teams in many departments and be able to effectively communicate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to organize, plan, execute, implement, and monitor projects throughout all project stages.
- Ability to define project goals and communicate to stakeholders through project closure.
- Track & manage the production of required project deliverables, as needed to support the team.
- Support capital planning, budgeting, and data collection
- Anticipates operational risks and provides strategic solutions escalating to appropriate level when required.
- Effectively communicates new or revised processes to construction and property management teams through written mediums and training.
- Identifies areas within Technology platforms where field training is needed, i.e. Roof Manager, Site, Dojo, etc.
- Works closely with Integrated Services leaders and other Departments on special planning and projects to meet company goals and initiatives.
- Participates in the planning and development of new process design and implementation.
- Develops training materials and presentations for new system implementations.
- Supports, organizes and tracks transaction team requirements for the construction team.
- Facilitates national contract execution, including actioning for disposition and acquisition activity.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA or BS in relevant field of study preferred (Construction Management, Real Estate, Business Management or similar).
- 3 years experience in the commercial real estate and project management fields.
- 2 years of property or building management experience handling customer service and administrative issues related to commercial real estate management is a plus.
- 2 years handling projects and project management preferred.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft 365 Applications including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Yardi modules is a plus.
- Strong aptitude for learning new software and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities.
- Must be able to run projects from conception to implementation.
- A strong work ethic, with an ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines.
- Intelligence, with a keen focus on details.
- Presents excellent communication skills through oral and written mediums to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels.
