About the Role
The Part-Time Outpatient Clinic Admin plays a critical role in keeping clinic operations running smoothly. This role will provide professional, welcoming support to clients, and serve as key point of coordination within the clinic.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, from 11:30AM – 5:30PM.
How You Make an Impact
In this role, you will:
- Greet patients and other visitors when they arrive
- Act as a liaison between patients and staff
- Schedule appointments
- Ensure general patient information, insurance information and related paperwork is up to date
- Collect co-payment and deductibles at check-in
- Coordinate with Patient Accounts and/or Program Director to assist with billing and insurance
- Provide general support to clinicians and medical staff, including faxing, emailing, calling patients, and collaterals
- Answer phones and triaging call
- Ensure the reception area is maintained as per cleaning procedure
- Maintain a working waitlist

What Will Set You Apart
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in working in a mental health/addiction treatment environment
- Experience working with health insurance
- Experience with an EHR/EMR
