Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat visits.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently to meet demand during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions securely.
- Upsell beverages and promote specials to increase sales while providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
- Follow all food handling, safety regulations, and alcohol service laws diligently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in training new team members on POS systems, serving techniques, and safety protocols as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service laws.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours seamlessly.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
- Experience with food handling, food safety procedures, and beverage preparation techniques including brewing knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous retail math or cashiering experience is a plus for managing transactions confidently.
