This is not a pressure based sales role. It is for someone who wants to earn well by helping the right companies move forward with clarity and confidence.

You will spend your time talking with business owners and referral partners. You will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, explain what we do in plain language, and help people understand how investing in LINK Consulting improves leadership, culture, and financial performance.


If you enjoy guiding conversations forward, keeping momentum, and helping people make confident decisions, this role will feel energizing.


If you need quick wins, constant direction, or a script to follow, this will feel frustrating.


How you are paid

  • This is a commission only, part time role
  • You earn 20% commission on new client engagements you generate
  • There is no base pay at this stage
  • Your income is directly tied to your results
  • For the right person, the earning potential is meaningful.


What you will do

  • Start and maintain conversations with prospective clients and referral partners
  • Build trust through consistency and follow through
  • Explain LINK Consulting’s work clearly and confidently
  • Help business owners understand how hiring us benefits their business financially and operationally
  • Move conversations forward with urgency, yet without pressure
  • Follow up reliably and keep momentum alive
  • Track conversations and next steps using our systems
  • Stay aligned with our values and ideal client profile

How this role grows

This role is designed to grow alongside LINK Consulting, with progression tied directly to the actual growth of the business rather than simply completing tasks. As results, trust, and alignment are demonstrated, both responsibilities and compensation will expand. 


Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (B2B experience preferred)
  • Strong relationship-building skills; able to connect with business owners and decision-makers
  • Confident communicator; able to explain complex services clearly and persuasively
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented; thrives in a commission-based, performance-driven environment
  • Comfortable managing long sales cycles and following through consistently
  • Organized and disciplined; able to track prospects, follow-ups, and next steps using CRM or project management tools
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with leadership
  • High integrity and alignment with LINK Consulting’s values


Optional, but a plus:

  • Experience explaining consulting, leadership, or business improvement services
  • Prior experience in professional services sales or marketing



The long-term vision is for this role to evolve into a full-time position with a base salary and benefits, ultimately becoming the Marketing and Sales Manager. In that future role, you would fully own marketing and client acquisition, allowing me to step out of day-to-day sales and marketing entirely. This is an opportunity for someone who wants ownership, meaningful impact, and income directly tied to real results.


Tools and structure

You will use tools like Less Annoying CRM, Harvest, Asana, and Google Workspace to track conversations and maintain momentum. These systems exist to support clarity, follow through, and growth.
